Mantra of Morta is an alternative metal band from Indiana USA formed in 2015 comprised of Tyler Bogard, Josh and Jessie Cochran, and Thomas and Dillion Duvall. 2016 saw the release of their first EP “Mantra” then in 2017 their second EP “Kingslayer”. In 2020 they released their first full length titled “Obsequious” while also later on in the year teaming up with Marc Rizzo to record a cover of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets”  2021 saw the release of the Dune themed EP “Et Tu, Brute?” In 2023 they released a single titled “Snake Charmer”. Early 2025 saw the release of their single “Felix”.

With supports alongside legendary acts such as Nekrogoblikon, Hatebreed, Avatar, Esham, Nita Straus, Marc Rizzo and their performances at Milwaukee Metal Fest with legends like Napalm Death, Lamb of God, Michigan Metal Fest with Upon a Burning Body, and The Gathering of the Juggalos with Tech N9ne… The Music of this band bridges genres and brings together a wide fanbase affectionately referred to as The Ramfam.

Mantra of Morta performances deliver a powerhouse set of visceral eclectic vocal ranges, from guttorals to sweeping whistle melodies and guitars that ride the edge of djent into thrash adjacent riff territory, that sends the crowd into an ecstatic frenzy. You can feel the bass in your chest and the rhythm hypnotize you, all while experiencing an energy exchange that is unlike any other. The alchemy that happens at a M.o.M show has been described as “I didn’t know I needed that”, “I walked into an alien opera!”, “The world needs to see, what I just saw.” Mantra of Morta is an all systems nominal type band, ready to set up and throw down anywhere at anytime. With a raw approach and fierce tenacity such as that, the trajectory for this band goes beyond the atmosphere and into the cosmos.
